Many people think that creativity is a trait that is only reserved for people who are born with the talent. That it is a child's natural talent, a gift if you would call it and like beauty, it is not possible to nurture and develop it. That it can't be taught by any means. Well, I do not think so.
I believe creativity is a skill that can be taught and developed to anyone especially children. The main reason why I think children are more suited to creativity training is because children are not exposed to the world around us as much as we adults do. They may not have comprehend every faucet of life as we adults know. They do not have the subconscious mindset that we adults do.
Take for example, you have an idea that you think is brilliant yet your subconscious mind is also telling you that if you told others about your idea, you will be laughed at and ridiculed. As a result over time, your creativity may have suffered or suppressed.
For children, their subconscious mind has not been fully developed yet. They still do not have the ability to tell whether something they have in their mind will be laughed at by others.
For us adults, we have a certain structure in life, we are expected to behave and think in a certain way or we will become society's outcast. Being fearful of being outcast whether be by your friends, family, colleagues or associates forces us and our minds to conform to a certain way of life. It can be a determent to your creativity. Over mind, this certain way of life becomes engrained into us and our subconscious mindset.
With that said , that does not mean adults can't develop their creativity. Just that it may take a longer time and the results may not be apparent.
Here are some simple steps you can take to develop your creativity skills.
1) You have to make the mental change that you are creative. You need to remove the mental block first. The easiest way to do that is to start a project, maybe on your hobby. Say for example, you are into cooking. Think of a new dish and give it a unique name. Don't use any references from your cooking books.
2) Broaden your horizons by reading magazines, reading news, travelling etc. Basically let your imagination run wild.
3) Carry a notepad or any recording device such as a mp3 recorder. Then record any ideas that struck you. You find that ideas may come to you in the most unlikely places and moments. So it helps if you have some way of recording it.

Don't ignore that idea.... it might change your life.
Ever feel like you're backstroking with the multitudes in a sea of mediocrity?
Ever feel like you're meant to be doing something a bit bigger, more stimulating, more noble, more significant, more challenging, more creative, more fun or more financially rewarding!!?
Does your life wreak of Blaaah?
Do you feel like you're the Captain of the SS Directionless?
Welcome to the Average club.

That's where most people live but don't wanna be.
The problem is, we do everything we can to stay a member.
About seventeen years ago I had an idea.
Apparently it was a stupid idea and I would never be able to pull it off.
Too young, too innexperienced, no business skills, no management experience, no administrative skills and no idea how to create, or grow, a business.
What would a dumb twenty four year-old bodybuilder know?
Besides, there was no market or demand for my idea in Australia.
Fortunately for me, my stupid idea has helped me become everything I wasn't, travel the world, work in television and radio, write books, write for magazines, lecture to thousands, help countless people reach their own dreams, have mountains of fun, work in a great environment with great people evey day and also make a few bucks.
I'm kinda glad I didn't listen to all those older, wiser 'advisors'.
Of course the idea was to set up Australia's first commercial Personal Training studio and fortunately for me, it proved to be not so dumb. It worked, not because I'm clever or some business guru, but because:
1. There WAS a market for what I was selling
2. I was prepared to do whatever it took
3. I was prepared to learn and look silly along the way
4. I hated working for other people!
5. I dealt with my fears (of failure etc.) and did what I needed to do.
6. I learnt to deal with discomfort on a daily basis
7. I wanted it enough
At some stage, every successful business, project, organisation or endeavour was simply an idea, a thought, a concept to be developed.
More than likely that same idea was had by many people before one person decided to get uncomfortable, take a risk, get off their butt, get busy and seriously chase their dream.
To actually turn the idea into a reality.
Too many of us spend our life doing nothing with our great ideas, and hoping that success and happiness might magically 'happen' to us.
You've got ideas, you've got potential, you've got what it takes.
You want more.
Stop waiting for the 'right' time... it may never arrive.
Besides, the Average club sucks.

Basics of Table Tennis Rule
Table tennis informally known as " ping pong " is a very popular Olympic game for two opposing players or four players opposing team match. It is almost like tennis in over - all concept, except there is a difference in rule. To enjoy this game all the way, one must have an understanding on how it is basically played. It is a sport for everyone in every leisure time, as long as the ergonomic dimensions of the table tennis is convenient to the maneuvers of a child.
Table tennis consists of a table with the following dimensions: 9 feet x 5 feet, painted/colored green, blue or black. The ball is hollow, lightweight and made of firm plastic material 40 millimeters in diameter. A net stretches along half the section of the table, crosswise with a height of 15 centimeters.
Rackets for table tennis is about 10 centimeters in length covered with rough rubber on both sides to soften the impact of the ball. Bare rackets with no rubber covering are not allowed because it prevents the ball from spinning. While it is a requirement, some coatings are not acceptable.
The enjoyable part of table tennis playing is executing strategies and techniques in spinning the ball with speed and strategy. But before getting the knack of advanced techniques, here are the basic rules of table tennis: Before starting a game without bias on who will serve the ball, a nice coin toss can settle it. The ball must be tactically tossed to a height of 6 inches, let it land on the first half of his table, over the net. If it does not get through the net, opponent gains a point.
However, if it hits the net but slips through to the opponent's other half of table, then the game must stop and ball must be served again. This is called " let. " Every " let " will not penalize a player. For every good service, the opponent must let the ball bounce once into the table before hitting it again to return it to the opposite direction to the opponent.
The scoring happens after every error of each players based on the following instances:
1. When a player lets the ball bounce on his table twice, then the other gets scored
2. Failure to hit the ball once it successfully landed and bounced on one's side
3. When hitting to return the ball and it bounced on one's area instead on the other side, then the opponent gets score
4. Hitting the ball with hands accidentally is acceptable, but hitting it again to the racket means a double strike. When a player commits double strike, his opponent gets scored.
5. If the return is not good and it did not bounce to the opponent's half side, then it is an error.
6. One must let the ball bounce his half table area before hitting to return the ball. Failure to do so is an error and will give opponent a point.
Successful hit and return of ping - pong balls happen after series of practice, when the hands get full coordination with the body movement. Graceful and smooth hits will give the ball a nice bounce inside the table. As the mastery begins to build up, players can hit extensively for up to a speed of 110 km/hr and it will not go wrong unless it is an awkward and bad move.
